Desde la organización ‘Film Independent’ se ha anunciado la lista de nominados a los premios Independent Spirit Awards, los premios al cine independiente de Estados Unidos y cuyos ganadores conoceremos el día 25 de febrero de 2017. Parten como favoritas las películas ‘Moonlight’ de Barry Jenkins, ‘American Honey’ de Andrea Arnold, ‘Manchester by the Sea’ de Kenneth Lonergan, y ‘Jackie’ de Pablo Larraín.
Las grandes sorpresas de la lista las protagonizan las películas ‘La bruja‘, nominada al primer guión y ópera prima, y ‘Swiss Army Man‘, la cinta que dirigieron Dan Kwan y Daniel Scheinert y que no gustó nada en Sundance, pero que ganó en Sitges; dicho título opta al premio a mejor montaje y mejor ópera prima.
